The Sony HX800 has what Sony calls the “Dynamic Edge” LED backlight, which offers local dimming from an edge-lit array. Nobody delivers 3D entertainment like Sony. HDTV is always better when viewed in 3D. It has an ambient sensor that monitors the system color and brightness. Blacks appear deeper and colors are very accurate.
